The Pink Force of Goa Police observed the National Road Safety week 2024 by joining hands with Manipal Hospital Goa, to organize a pre Hospital Care and BLS workshop under the RAKSHAK (First Response Care) training program which is an initiative of Manipal Hospital supported by the Government of Goa.

Under the Direction of Respected Director General of Police, Goa and under the able leadership of Smt. Ezilda F. D'Souza Superintendent of Police, SPCR/Pink Force and supervision of Smt. Mira D'Silva, Police Inspector Pink Force/SPCR, Panaji. Basic Life Support (BLS) training session was conducted with coordination of Shri. Surendra Prasad, Director of Manipal Hospital Goa, who coordinated with the Goa Police (Pink Force) and organized this Pre Hospital Care and BLS workshop. Dr.Elaine Rodriguies Consultant and Head of the ICU at Manipal Hospital conducted the workshop with the assistance of Netcol (Emergency & Trauma) the workshop consisted of theory and Hands on practical session for the 31 staff of Pink force Police personnel and received certificates of participation.

The Basic Life Support training enlightened the participants (Pink Force Staff) with practical knowledge to deal with emergencies during traffic accidents. The GOLDEN HOUR for accident related victim plays an important role and instant First Aid Care prove fruitful in saving precious life.
